Insurance

The Central Connecticut Cardiologists, LLC participates in most major insurance plans. As new plans are added frequently, please contact the billing department at 860.525.4005 to confirm that we participate with your insurance.

Some plans require prior authorization from your primary care physician. It is your responsibility to obtain that authorization.

Failing to obtain a valid referral may delay your consultation or lead to denial of benefits, rendering you responsible for the fees.

Medicare assignment is accepted. We treat all of our patients with the same level of care and compassion, regardless of their financial circumstances or insurance coverage.

Appointments

We try to see all patients on an appointment basis. To enable a better selection of time and day, please call for routine appointments 3 months in advance. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify our office 24 hours in advance. For emergency/urgent situations, we will do our best to respond to your needs in a prompt and efficient manner. We make every effort to honor all appointments and request that you extend the same courtesy to us. On occasion, unavoidable delays unfortunately may occur due to hospital emergencies. We appreciate your understanding on these matters.

In the event of an emergency situation at night or during the weekend, our physicians are on call 24-hour basis.
